Houdini: Look development. FEM cushions, Hair for rugs. Feather setup, POP simulations.
My contribution to this project started with a bit of look development for the man in Houdini, using wires and grains to simulate thick and thin foam pieces. Most of these things got dropped as the project evolved, and then I ended up looking after secondary effects of attaching cushions and soft bodies using the FEM tools, and using the hair for rugs.
Towards the end, the agency decided they wanted a feather man. I made him using a hair base, scattering geo feathers, and a POP sim for floaters, and a little setup to place piles on the floor.
