Maya: Animating vehicle assets. 3dsMax: Particle debris
The first major project of the new year. Well, the first to finish at least.
On this spot I animated the car’s and the jet in Maya. Although they were not on the screen for very long, they needed to be shown off in the best way. There was some pretty tight art direction to follow.
I also brought Alembic versions into 3dsMax to add particle dust and chunks. Using Pflow and the new mParticles I setup a quick system that was used for all the cars.
